Born as Seth Cassiel in Kuwait, it was winter at that time. We took his name from my favorite film "City of Angels", where in Nicolas Cage's name is Seth and his angel bestfriend is Cassiel. I was supposed to be due on October 30th, and was really uncomfortable with the incoming dates because of halloween and all soul's day holiday (hehehe).. but then he got out on November 3.
I had contractions around 3 a.m., while ironing some clothes and watching GMA series and told my husband not to sleep anymore because I feel that baby boy is about to come out. So we left at 5 a.m. to the hospital and saw the opening is about 2 cm.
NO VISITORS allowed at that time.. I am on my own, but I got lucky there's a Filipina nurse who had assisted me. Around 1p.m., I had a normal delivery with Seth. I was alone in the recovery room, while waiting for them to transfer me to regular room. I had a first look at my son around 5 p.m. already and visitors are allowed only until 7:30 p.m.
And here's our first family picture... I had to stay in the hospital for four days, and in this country, they really encourage breast-feeding. I was not successful though, after several attempts :)
